Heading northward your flight crosses over the Great Northern Highway and Panton River. Passing over vast pastoral land and Alice Downs homestead your flight will descend over the concentric rings of the Mcintosh Hills.

Cutting across deep Gorge your journey continues with an aerial circuit around the UNESCO World Heritage listed Purnululu National Park covering a bird’s eye view of the spectacular and iconic Beehive domes.

On completing the circuit the flight descends to join other visitors to the National Park and Bellburn Camp airstrip.

Once you arrive at the airstrip you’ll be warmly welcomed by Kingfisher Tours’ Gija guides, the traditional custodians of this sacred land, for a guided experience taking you into the heart of the bungles.

Your 3km round walk takes you through Picanninny creek then along a gorge path that cuts through the Beehive Domes and showcases the exotic flora unique to this area.

Experience a Muntha ceremony (a traditional Welcome to Country ensuring safe passage across the land) with a delicious morning tea of fresh damper, bush honey, and tea or coffee, creating a perfect start to your on-the-ground adventure.

Upon leaving the Bungles, your flight crosses the 3 rivers - Elvire, Panton and Ord which join up to feed Lake Argyle and tracks along the Albert Edward and Elvire range before turning westward.

Before descending into Halls Creek you'll see Caroline Springs, Osmond Valley and China Wall - a lengthy, exposed quartz vein that seemingly divides old and Present day Halls Creek townships. ​​
